Bread Is a Staple Of Life
Chicken & Dressing Corn Bread1 pkg Cornbread Stuffing1 C Cream of Mushroom Soup1 C Cream of Celery Soup2 C Chicken Broth1 stick (1/2 C) Margarine2 C Chicken.Mix first five ingredients. In lightly greased baking dish layer stuffing mix and chicken. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.

Blue Cornbread 1 cup Martha White Self Rising corn meal mix1 cup Blue Corn meal3 Tablespoons sugar1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder1 cup buttermilk1 egg, beaten3 Tablespoons bacon fat (melted)1/2 cup crumbled bacon1 - 4 oz. can chopped green chileCombine first three ingredients. Add remaining ingredients. Mix well. Pour into hot, greased, 6 inch Lodge Cast Iron Skillet. Bake at 450 degrees for 26-30 minutes or until done. (Really good with pinto beans.) Try one of our corn
