Corn Bags Save Energy

I was horrified by the cost of heating my house last winter. My mother gave me a corn bag, and I started using it at night when I turned the heat down low...it was so warm and cozy! I felt like a colonial American, warming up my cold bed before I climbed in - except the corn bag is much nicer than a brick from the fireplace! And you can move it all around, to make sure your feet are warm...My husband says he feels like he's sleeping with Orville Reddenbacher but the scent is really very nice. I also often work at home, and I can turn the heat down and put a corn bag in my lap and still stay very warm. It is amazing how long a few minutes in the microwave will generate heat!
